I've looked for arrow heads a few times and have found a couple. Found more when I wasn't looking for them, just walked up on them.

Best way to begin finding arrowheads is to "not look for them." Learn how to spot lithic debris, te waste from making arrowheads and other tools. For every finished artifact, there will be dozens, if not hundreds of flakes and chips. In a good spot the ground is literally covered in flakes and chips. Most people do not recognize this for what it is - a place where prehistoric Indians spent some time, living or just camping. Find flakes and chips, and almost always finished artifacts eventually show up. Never give up on an area where you find chips and flakes. All it takes is a good rain, to bring more atifacts to the surface.

I show a lot of the stuff I find here, and sometimes tell how to find it:

You are right billco, I found a spot just like that. Over the years I have found some half made arrowheads, a lot of flakes and some perfect ones. I got to asking some of the old timers around and they said their grandfathers told them It was a Indian village there years ago.
