Post Squirrel Hunting Guns
Squirrel season is just around the corner. Favorite guns? I usually take my squirrels while doing other hunting, so I'm always taking them with a shotgun, 20-gauge mostly.

I grew up hunting squirrels with a 410 and 22. I've never owned a 20 gauge.

I had a old 20 gauge when I was a young whipper snapper. Killed hundreds of squirrels with it.

My favorite squirrel gun is a .32 caliber CVA muzzleloader. It doesn't have the explosive impact of a .22 or the "strainer" effect of a shotgun. Gut shots don't cause a big mess. Lots of fun, too!
