Tough Job but Someone............had to do it!!!!

I carried some Aggies out the other night for a little Tactical Action (now don't go and get dirty minded on me LOL) These girls had never even fired a gun, but I was up for the challenge. We got set up on the bench and placed a target out @ 75 yards. All four of the girls wacked it inside the 6" circle, not bad for shooting a nightime scope with the filter on, in the daylight hours. So after fitting everyone with some goggles, we pulled out in search of some hogs. 20 minutes into the hunt BINGO, we had pork. Took two girls and stalked up within 50 yards of 20+ hogs. I got them set up on the sticks, and counted them down just like we had practiced from the bench. 3 2 1 boom, hogs went to falling like shooting stars. Were doing good, 1st stalk 3 hogs down. So we take a few pics and roll on to the next spot. I then spotted a BIG hog with the FLIR, and took the other two gals on a quick 500 yards stalk. Same results, 3 2 1 BOOM. this shoat ended up being a barrow, and he was a solid 20" across his back, and he had some nice cutters. After some more pics the girls decided they had time to get back to College Station and make it to North Gate, so we called the hunt. Total talley 4 hogs down and four happy newbie hunters.

Thanks for letting me share this hunt with ya'll.

Jed
