fishing holes

Postby BK Outdoors » Fri Sep 18, 2009 11:56 am

Hi,
I just wondered if anyone catches trout out there or is this all bass, sea fish etc? Where I live all we have mostly is rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, brook trout, hybrid trout, very few perch, and even less bass. Trout is the mainstay, whether you fly fish or use bait or spinning gear, these fish give great fights and are great table fare. Last week myself and my grandson caught several fish in the 7 to 8 lb range mostly rainbow, couple of hybrids and two brook trout. We kept 5 or 6 of the fish and took pictures if anyone is interested I will post them. We turned loose about 10 others. <bcole27@gmail.com>

I have been trout fishing many moons ago. Got some friends who trout fish, they don't do the internet to post any fishing trips. Keep us posted on your trout fishing and we would enjoy seeing your pictures.
