Hi Rick,

Michael Reaves proved riding out the storm pays
off. He fought the wind and rain for first place
with a 35.44lb Bluecat.

The success of this tournament started and ended
with dedication of everyone pulling together during
a time of bad weather.

During the day, high winds and heavy rains moved
through our area with Tornado Warnings.

A special thanks goes out to all of our sponsors,
volunteers, and staff for making thistournament
safe, fun, and successful.

4.Catfish Tips - Safety First

Launching and loading any size boat in the wind
requires a lot of luck and skill. Mistakes can
be costly, or worse, even more deadly when heavy
winds and rain cause unforeseenable accidents.

Being alert and watching out for each other is
the key for surviving bad weather on the water!
